- Superwash yarn is machine-washable. However, for longevity, hand washing is recommended.
- Items made out of non-superwash yarn should always be hand washed as friction can cause it to felt and shrink.
- Hand wash gently in cool water with a drop of gentle detergent is recommended. Do not use fabric softener, for it makes yarn pills and dissolves superwash coating.
- Although I carefully set dyes to avoid color bleeding, it may occur for the first few washes. Turning your hand knitted item inside out when washing will make it last longer.
- Air dry flat: Lay your hand knitted item flat on a towel or gently on a drying rack for it to dry. Do not wring or hang on a hanger since this will agitate the item.
