Grévy's Sock is a soft, springy merino and nylon blend with black and white yarns plied to give a striping effect. Grévy's Sock is named after a beautiful but endangered zebra species called Grevy's zebra.* The 2-ply yarn takes color beautifully and gives great stitch definition. Nylon-blend yarn not only strengthens the yarn but also creates a lighter and more breathable fabric, which is also ideal for warmer climates. Perfect for socks but also great for any next-to-skin projects, such as mittens.
*This year, 10% of the profit made from sales of this holiday sock yarn series will be donated again to the WWF (World Wildlife Fund).
